Hi {{Lived-Mailing-Name}},

We can't believe it's almost August! Hopefully, you're already thinking about what you might need at UVM this year. If you're looking for some guidance, here are a couple of handy links:

* Laptop Computer Requirements
* Must Download Apps
* Course Materials on sale at the UVM Bookstore starting August 3
* Comprehensive list of apartment essentials to consider for your off campus housing

There is so much to look forward to this year and we are here to help you start the semester feeling prepared. Keep working on your New Student Checklist and let us know if we can help you with any tasks!

Important Due Dates 📌

There are key items on the New Student Checklist that we want to make sure are on your radar and are completed before you arrive to campus this fall.

-Setting up CATcard - due ASAP, you will be using your CATcard at New Student Orientation to access your Residence Hall and all meals. During Orientation all your meals are included (you do not need a meal plan), but you do need your CATCard to access the meals!

-Club Interest Survey - due August 15th

-Vector Learning Modules - due August 14th

-Pre-Enrollment Survey - due August 23rd

Be sure to complete these items on your New Student Checklist to stay on track!

What is WOW?

Week of Welcome (affectionately known as “WOW”) is a favorite UVM tradition that celebrates the start of each new semester (Monday, August 31 - Tuesday, September 8). This week is filled with awesome (FREE) events, from the Department of Student Life, and other departments, colleges, and student organizations - all in an effort to help you connect to your campus and your peers! Get free coffee, learn about student orgs, enjoy a game night, watch a free movie, and take a trip to the Champlain Valley Fair. There are activities and events for everyone!
