May 20, 2026

Hi {{Lived-Mailing-Name}},

This past weekend was full of events celebrating the 225th commencement for the Class of 2026! Check out this short Instagram Reel of two time Olympic medalist, Ben Ogden '22, as he inspires fellow Catamounts to live by their own definition of success as they go out into the world. We are so excited for the class of '26 and we can't wait to see what they do next.

Please note that our office and the entire UVM campus will be closed on Monday, May 25. Wishing you and yours a safe and happy upcoming Memorial Day weekend.

TO-DO ITEMS

Set up Proxy Users and Authorized Payers

You can give a family member or another trusted person access to see your billing, financial aid, and account details. By setting them up as a proxy user and/or an authorized payer, you’re also giving Student Financial Services permission to speak with them about your account.

You can add more than one proxy or authorized payer, and you can update or remove them at any time.

Why this matters:
If you don’t set up a proxy or authorized payer, your supporters (like parents or family members) won’t be able to make payments directly to UVM or speak to UVM directly about your Financial Aid.

Click here for more details and instructions on how to set up proxy users and authorized payers.

Submit your Final Transcripts & AP Scores

Your final high school transcript confirming your graduation date must be sent directly to Undergraduate Admissions once it becomes available. Transcripts can be submitted electronically or emailed to admissions@uvm.edu.

If you completed a GED, HiSET, or were homeschooled, click here for additional instructions.

If you submitted AP scores with your application, those scores will be sent to the Office of Transfer Affairs. If you have new scores to submit, please reach out to the College Board and have them sent directly to the Office of Transfer Affairs (transfer@uvm.edu). If you are wondering if your AP Scores from this year will earn you credit at UVM, check out this guide or contact the Office of Transfer Affairs.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES 📌

Submit your required Immunization Forms by July 1

To comply with Vermont Department of Health guidelines and protect the well-being of the UVM community, all incoming students must submit required immunization forms by July 1.

Immunization records must be submitted before arriving on campus this fall. Students who do not meet the compliance requirements may have a hold placed on future course registration. Some of the immunizations may require multiple doses, so it is important for you to check your records now to make sure you will meet the requirements before arrival.

Learn more about the requirements and how to submit your forms: Immunization Requirements at UVM.

UVM Email Only after June 1

Beginning June 1, 2026, we’ll stop sending communications to your personal email address. Make sure you are regularly checking your UVM email throughout the summer, as it’s the official way the university will contact you.

If you are having trouble finding your UVM email, visit this page for instructions on how to access your account. UVM uses Microsoft Outlook as an email platform. If you have not logged in before, you will sign in first using the short version of your email (netid@uvm.edu), then you will be taking to a page to login with your NetID and password.

Placement Tests & Course Registration

Your college will email you on June 1 to set up an appointment with an advisor to review your course registration. These appointments will take place between June 8-July 2.

If you plan to take the Foreign Language, Music Theory, or Math placement test, please complete it at least 24 hours before your course registration appointment. You can access each test through your New Student Checklist.
